McLeod Country Golf Club has plenty happening this October, with a great line-up of live music, delicious food and family-friendly entertainment planned throughout the month.
Kicking things off on Friday 9 October, regular McLeod musician Matt Jones will be performing live from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Matt has become a familiar face and favourite with McLeod guests, regularly entertaining on the second Friday of each month. His performances provide the perfect soundtrack to a relaxed Friday evening, whether you are enjoying dinner with family and friends, catching up over a drink or simply looking to unwind after the working week.
Matt brings his experience as a live musician to each performance, creating an enjoyable atmosphere that complements an evening at the club. His regular appearances have helped make Friday night live music a popular part of the McLeod calendar, giving members and guests another reason to get together and enjoy everything the club has to offer.
We also have the “Shoot-out” happening from 5.30pm this Friday, so if you think you’re the champion of the short game, this event is for you.
The following week, McLeod will launch its Sounds of Summer series with singer-songwriter Lara Joy on Friday 16 October from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Lara Joy brings a beautiful acoustic sound to McLeod, performing a selection of timeless classics and popular favourites. Her repertoire includes songs such as Vincent by Don McLean, Jolene by Dolly Parton and Carolina in My Mind by James Taylor, along with plenty of other familiar songs.
The Sounds of Summer series will continue on Friday 30 October, when Lara Joy returns for a special Halloween-themed evening. Starting at 5.30pm and running until 8.30pm, the night will combine live music, family dining and a little Halloween fun. Children attending the Halloween event will receive free lolly bags, adding an extra treat for younger guests.
There will also be family-friendly dining options available across the October live music events. Children under 12 can enjoy a $10 kids pizza, while families can take advantage of the $60 Family Pizza, Chips and Schweppes Deal, which includes two large pizzas, large chips and a jug of Schweppes Post Mix. No further discounts apply and terms and conditions apply.
With regular live music from familiar McLeod favourites and special performances from visiting artists, October is shaping up to be a great month for an evening out at the club.
