Looking for a great way to round off the week? Friday nights at McLeod Country Golf Club bring together great food, live entertainment, friendly competition and plenty of opportunities to win, all in a relaxed and welcoming club atmosphere.
Whether you are joining us for dinner, meeting friends for a drink, testing your golfing skills or simply looking for somewhere enjoyable to unwind, there is plenty happening throughout the evening.
The action gets underway with the return of the popular Shoot Out competition from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. Open to members and visitors, the Shoot Out is your chance to test your accuracy, compete against fellow golfers and take aim at a growing jackpot. With entry just $5 for two shots, it is an easy and affordable way to add a little friendly competition to your Friday night.
Competitors will be divided into three categories: GA Handicap 18 and above, GA Handicap 0–18, and a junior division for participants aged 16 and under. With players competing and spectators cheering them on, the Shoot Out brings an exciting buzz to the club and is a great addition to the evening.
From 4:00 pm, live entertainment from Matt Jones will set the scene for the night. With music continuing throughout the afternoon and evening, it is the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends, enjoying a drink or settling in for dinner.
Speaking of dinner, Friday night is a great time to enjoy the club’s dining offerings. This week’s meal specials include the South American brisket burger served with chips for $20.00, while members can enjoy the exclusive Shoot Out Steak special for just $19.90. The blackboard specials will also feature seasonal dishes and chef-inspired creations, with the full bistro menu available throughout the day.
Then, from 7:00 pm, it is time for the popular Raffles and Members Draw. With the Members Draw jackpot currently sitting at an impressive $1,100, there is plenty to play for. Best of all, members need to be present to win, so make sure you are here when your name is called.
